Evé Cameron
Based up North

Born and raised in West Yorkshire, in a small working class town, creativity wasn't a prevalent concept around 'ere - which lead to growing up full of ideas, inspiration - but a lack of opportunity to explore them.
That's where SAINT GATO came along. Originally created under the name 'LA VIDA' in 2016 - it became a passion project, a way to get my ideas out into the world. From painting on t-shirts, jeans, and trainers; I began to learn to sew with an old machine on my bedroom floor. Knee to the pedal.
Re-working was the beginning of this brand - with humble roots in a desperation to create, to transform one thing into another - and taught valuable lessons about the ingenuity that can be found when using limited resources.
Since then, school and university have elevated my design process, with more funding, more tools and new skills to help produce and hone concepts into tangible records of the ideas in my head.
